The Blick Center Team- Adapted Model of Mental Health Supported Employment Occupational Therapy in Community Mental Health has a long tradition of providing person-centered interventions with the goal of increasing an individual’s ability to live as independently as possible while engaging in meaningful and productive life roles (AOTA 2010) By evaluating the physical, cognitive, social, and contextual components, as well as use of activity analysis, we can optimize and enhance an individual’s ability to succeed within a wide range of vocational environments. With generous community partners, we work together to motivate, adapt, and provide just the right challenge for our clients, with focus on utilizing research-based, real-world experiences for successful outcomes.
